What We Like and Don’t Like About This Backpack:
I personally own a Topo Designs backpack, and I have to say it’s one of the most versatile backpacks I’ve ever owned. It looks professional and also has a spot for your laptop and could be carried to the office or boardroom without standing out as too casual. I personally don’t use the laptop sleeve because my laptop is 17″ and the backpack can only accommodate a 15″ laptop. It also has the Cordura exterior to be durable and resilient with everyday use.
If you are wanting to take it out for a hike on the trails, it also includes leather lash tabs to secure your extra gear or attach a bike light. A side pocket to hold your water bottle in case you need it. The color options are great and can really reach out to a diverse customer base.
Overall I like its classic style, overall quality, and versatility. This is truly a backpack that could become your best friend and in my opinion, it’s easily one of the best backpacks made in the USA.

This style comes in one of the strongest exteriors with its 1050D water-resistant ballistic nylon. If you really want to test its strength, the 2” quick-release buckle is tested to hold over a thousand pounds of pressure. That’s a lot for a backpack.
Other things that stand out to me are its adjustable side pockets, the vented, closed-cell padded back to keep your back cooler during the warm months, and the exterior water bottle pockets. There really weren’t any details left unturned on this one.
